Schneider Electric: Von Schweinitz has left the company

Vice President Alexander von Schweinitz left Schneider Electric at the end of 2017. Dr. Barbara Frei, Zone President Schneider Electric DACH, will lead the Building Germany division until further notice.

Alexander von Schweinitz, Vice President Schneider Electric Germany and Managing Director of Merten, has handed over operational responsibility for the Building Commercial division at his own request at the end of 2017. Von Schweinitz is leaving the company to take on new challenges outside the Schneider Electric Group. However, he will remain associated with the company as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, it was reported.

Since 2011, Alexander von Schweinitz has successfully merged the division with the brands Schneider Electric, Merten, Ritto and most recently with the acquisition of ABN Braun and positioned Schneider Electric in the German market. "We very much regret his decision and expressly thank Alexander von Schweinitz for his outstanding work over the past years," emphasizes Dr. Barbara Frei, Zone President Schneider Electric DACH, who will lead the Building Commercial Germany division until further notice. as
