Trade fairs division: Dietmar Eiden takes over operational management
On July 2, 2018, Dietmar Eiden (49) took over the operational management of all B2B trade fairs in Reed Exhibitions' Austrian portfolio and thus a central key position in the group of companies.
These include a total of around 15 trade fairs, including the industry's leading trade fairs Alles für den Gast Herbst, Tracht & Country, AutoZum, Power-Days, CASA in Salzburg as well as Vienna's Intertool/Smart Automation/C4I and Smart Automation, Elektrofachhandelstage and Schweissen in Linz.
Marketing expert Eiden, who also has extensive experience in strategic management consulting, strategy development and business process optimization as well as business development, comes from Messe Köln, where he has worked since 2005 - most recently as Vice President. "I am extremely pleased that we have been able to gain a highly versatile and experienced professional in Dietmar Eiden. Our management team is now complete. At Messe Köln, Eiden, who was born in Wattenscheid, was primarily responsible for the successful development of the "Food and Food Technology" category, which includes the world's leading trade fairs Anuga, ISM, Anuga Food Tec and other trade fairs, as part of a broad, international remit. Before he was promoted to Vice President in Cologne, he was Project Manager of Anuga. In the years before that, Eiden, who graduated from Ruhr University Bochum with a degree in Marketing and Planning & Organization, worked as Product Manager Automotive Aftermarket at 3M Germany in Neuss, as Head of Marketing & Sales at the AIP Institute in Hagen and as Senior Project Manager at Stein Promotions GmbH, Bob Bomliz Group, Düsseldorf (BBDO).
