Generation change

Magnus Wagner appointed to the LIS Board of Directors

Magnus Wagner has been elected to the Management Board of Logistic Information Systems (LIS). The 38-year-old took over the voting shares of his father and CEO Hilmar Wagner in October last year.

His appointment to the management board marks the next step towards a generational change at the top of the company. "For us, handing over responsibility to the next generation primarily means continuity. In this way, we are not only rejuvenating the management team, but also maintaining our innovative strength," says Hilmar Wagner. In addition, this decision also reflects the family corporate culture of the Greven-based software manufacturer. In addition to Magnus and Hilmar Wagner, Rolf Hansmann completes the LIS Management Board. He has been a member of the board for more than three years and will continue to steer the fortunes of the company in this position in the future.

Magnus Wagner acquired the skills he needed to succeed in his new area of responsibility during his time at Bosch and BMW, among others. In 2013, Wagner finally moved to LIS, where he was Head of Project Management for several years. Magnus Wagner initially intends to focus on expanding sales and project management in his role on the Management Board. His declared aim is also to drive forward international expansion. as
