Series improved

Facelift for the portfolio

Allmatic-Jakob has improved the machine vices of the TC and LC series. Up to eleven presettable clamping force levels were previously available, but now the company is presenting a uniformly structured overall series under the NC8 label.

The new product family consists of six models with different jaw widths. The NC8-90 and -125M have mounting holes with a 200 millimetre pitch, which allow the use of the most common zero-point clamping systems. The 125, 160 and 200 models offer holes for increasing the clamping width.

The force can be preset for all products without tools and in seconds. As with the TC, Allmatic also grinds the NC8 laterally, which increases the accuracy of the vices. This makes the new clamps ideal for daily use in three- and four-sided machining, says the manufacturer. Full compatibility with existing LC/TC models without additional programming effort is guaranteed. Allmatic also guarantees the availability of spare parts for the discontinued LC/TC models for a further 20 years. as
