Euroblech is postponed to March 2021

The decision was made after extensive discussions with all exhibitors and partners over the past weeks and months. The majority of those involved were in favor of not holding the trade fair in October in view of the current Covid-19 crisis. Uncertainties surrounding travel restrictions were also a concern of many participants in order to preserve the international character of the trade fair.

Commenting on the announcement, Nicola Hamann, Managing Director of Mack Brooks Exhibitions, said: "The past few months have been very challenging, particularly for the sheet metal working industry and related industrial sectors. We have seen a sharp decline in orders for capital goods and many companies are telling us about their efforts to deal with the impact of Covid-19. Although we recently received approval from the state of Lower Saxony for our safety concept for Euroblech in October 2020, we have therefore decided to postpone Euroblech until spring 2021."

According to recent surveys, participants have a high need to network and do business to drive the industry's recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic. The trade fair will therefore offer a virtual platform for the global sheet metal working industry in October: The Digital Innovation Summit to take place during the show's scheduled dates of October 27 - 30. Further information on the event, including details on the online presentation stage for exhibitors, video-on-demand options and matchmaking, will be available shortly. as
