ams.Solution makes new internal appointments to the Management Board
After more than 30 years at the helm of ams.Solution, Manfred Deues will step down as CEO on September 30, 2022 and move to the Supervisory Board.
At the same time, Eckhard Ulmer, another member of the Management Board and one of the company's first employees, is leaving the company. The company has appointed Andreas Montag for the areas of projects and customer support and Nikas Schröder for the areas of product, development and IT as new members of the Management Board.
In his address on the personnel changes, Supervisory Board Chairman Rainer Girmes emphasized that the decision of the committee he heads was a clear signal to the market to maintain the character of the family-owned company in order to continue to maintain a partnership-based relationship with customers on an equal footing. This is also reflected in the appointment of Simone Schiffgens, who has been responsible for Sales, Finance and Human Resources for many years, as Chairwoman of the Management Board.
She is thus taking over from her father Manfred Deues. Company founder Willibald Müller had already taken this step in 2019. Both company owners will continue to support the new Management Board in an advisory capacity, as will Eckhard Ulmer.
