Safety structure quickly configured

The Safety Configuration Library (SCL) from SEW-Eurodrive supports customers in the pre-selection of drive components with suitable safety technology. It can be used to quickly configure and check sophisticated safety concepts - even without special SEW product knowledge.

The structure of a safety concept with SEW drive components can be created with just a few clicks. The requirements for the concept and the desired products are selected via the configuration. The control cabinet units from the Movi-C modular automation system, such as frequency inverters and controllers, have now been added. With each selection, the corresponding concept image is gradually built up. It is graphically simplified and provides an overview of the required components and their interaction in the overall system. All concepts are tested for their basic suitability so that the requirements of the required performance level (PLr) are met.

SCL also provides support with customer advice

At the end of the configuration, a complete concept image is created with the security sub-functions that can be realized with it. This project-specific results report can be downloaded as a PDF. SEW-Eurodrive sales staff can use this to call up the concept and advise their customers on any questions that arise and on further topics.
