Electric actuators

New designs for elecylinders

IAI is launching a series of new designs for the EC Elecylinder at Motek. In addition to splash-proof models, there will also be larger and longer models with greater load capacities.

Overall, the new additional models will greatly expand this series. The Elecylinders are electric actuators that can be easily programmed via an integrated controller. In addition to the actual positions, the travel speeds as well as the acceleration and deceleration cycles can also be specified depending on the application. They can easily run at slow, uniform speeds over the entire travel distance.

They also have high-resolution, battery-free absolute encoders. This means that the product series also benefits from all the advantages of this technology: the elimination of reference runs and the use of a home sensor, no need for battery maintenance and easy restart after an emergency stop. Thanks to the high repeat accuracy of plus/minus 0.05 millimetres, very precise positioning is also possible. as
