Robot arm for tight installation spaces

With the OVR series, Oriental Motor is launching a range of robots in a compact design. It starts with the OVR3041K3-H Scara robot arm, which is celebrating its premiere at Automatica.

It is characterized by a flat design and is therefore suitable for all applications in which the operational height is limited. As the OVR3041K3-H has a battery-free absolute encoder, it does not require any external reference sensors. Oriental Motor supplies the robot arm with suitable end effectors and stepper motors with integrated spindle on request.

There are also plans to introduce further robots from the OVR range in the near future - including a 4-axis palletizing robot and a 5/6-axis articulated arm robot. Another highlight at the trade fair stand will be the new MRCU robot controller. The controller controls up to 8 axes and covers applications such as delta, gantry, palletizing and articulated arm robots.
