Nylon materials for HSE platform
Essentium will be presenting high-temperature nylon materials for the HSE (High Speed Extrusion) platform for the first time at the trade fair.
The materials offer high resistance to heat, chemical influences and material fatigue and can still be processed at low printing temperatures, similar to PLA thermoplastics.
With its new HT nylon materials,Essentium aims to offer a cost-effective alternative to niche HT materials, which generally require high-temperature extruders. Due to the combination of nylon with carbon fibers, the materials are 4 times more stable than acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene and have a heat deflection temperature of 200 °C, according to the manufacturer.
