Reusable IBC from Schoeller Allibert
Transporting liquids sustainably
Schoeller Allibert has developed the new ChemiFlow especially for transporting liquids. The intermediate bulk container holds up to 1,000 liters, is stable and sustainable.
With the new ChemiFlow, Schoeller Allibert is presenting a robust and versatile intermediate bulk container (IBC) for the transportation of liquids. The UN-certified container is designed in ISO pallet dimensions of 1,000 x 1,200 millimeters and holds 1,000 liters. According to the manufacturer, its modular design makes it robust and yet easy to handle.
Users can configure it precisely to their needs. For example, it can be equipped with three or six runners. The patented bayonet connection between the container and skids makes the IBC easy, quick and inexpensive to repair, making it durable and sustainable. And at the end of its useful life, the ChemiFlow is 100% recyclable.
Completely emptied in just three minutes
The IBC can be equipped with various filling and emptying systems as well as tamper-proof closures. This protects the contents from contamination, loss and theft. Thanks to its central filling opening on the top, the ChemiFlow is easy to handle and compatible with all common filling systems and washing stations, according to the company. Users can adapt the outlet and inlet openings with different seals for all conceivable applications.
The IBC is also equipped with safety features: During filling, automatic venting reduces the risk of overpressure, and an optional closed system can prevent vapors from being released. With the quick ventilation kit, users can completely empty the ChemiFlow in just three minutes. Its specially shaped base ensures that the liquids drain away safely and completely.
Space saving and sustainability
The ChemiFlow is designed for ambient temperatures from minus 18 to plus 40 degrees Celsius, is stable and easy to clean. This makes it suitable for use in the chemical, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and food industries, but also interesting for industrial production and container pooling. The 1,323 millimetre high container can carry up to 2,200 kilograms and is optimized to save space. Up to 18 containers fit into a 20-foot container and up to 38 IBCs can be transported in a 40-foot container. When the ChemiFlow is empty, up to four containers can be stacked on top of each other to save space.
The IBC has ample space for RFID tags and can be equipped by Schoeller Allibert with an IoT-based track-and-trace system. This allows the location, temperature and fill level to be monitored precisely. This supports a transparent supply chain. as
