With this additional themed area, Leipziger Messe is creating a forum for experts and decision-makers who are specifically concerned with the production of key technologies for the hydrogen economy and the energy transition. The special feature is that operators, plant manufacturers and a strong supplier industry are brought together to jointly develop solutions for the challenges of series production.

The technology mall: The trade fair organizers from Leipzig present the value chain of hydrogen systems in a clear and tangible way - with all the individual steps from membrane electrode unit to stacking, bipolar plates, seals and everything to do with use, systems and services. This makes it possible to take out the individual steps and categorize the services of one's own company. The integrated section entitled "Partners" presents companies that are already active in the field of hydrogen system production.

Get into conversation: The hydrogen experts from the H2 reference factory in Chemnitz from Frauenhofer IWU will be on hand to talk about the possibilities of series production of electrolysers and answer individual questions such as "Where does my company stand in the production chain?" or "What new business model can be derived?".

The hy.tec Grand Prix will awaken the child in all industry experts. The race track for remote-controlled hydrogen-powered model cars is sure to be a visitor magnet for all those who like competition and fun. Whoever reaches the finish line fastest without a pit stop wins.

"It takes courage to penetrate new markets, convert production processes and invest in the future. The high social relevance of green hydrogen as an energy source makes series production a task that must not be neglected. At the same time, it offers enormous opportunities and potential for mechanical engineering and the supplier industry. With hy.tec, Leipziger Messe brings plant manufacturers and potential suppliers together with the manufacturers of hydrogen systems and paves the way," says Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe.
