Brose: New management board structure
Brose has completed the reorganization at the top of the company. Since February 1, 51-year-old Dr. Patrick Popp has headed the Drives business division, succeeding Reinhard Kretschmer (62), who is leaving the company at the end of the year to retire.
Frank Lubischer (55) took over responsibility for Brose's North American business from Michael Brosseau (50) on March 1. Niklas Beyes (47) will take over the commercial management of the Brose Group from Volker Herdin (54) on May 1.
"The reorganization at the top of our company has been completed. With a strong management team, we will drive Brose's successful development forward," says Kurt Sauernheimer, CEO of the Group.
Since February 1, Patrick Popp has been responsible for the global business with drives and manages the Group's electronics activities. Last year, the Würzburg-based division contributed around 1 billion euros to the Brose Group's turnover. In his professional career, the doctor of engineering has held various management positions in international companies in the automotive and electronics industries. Most recently, he headed the Professional Lighting Systems division at the Dutch electronics company Philips. He has more than 20 years of experience in management, product development and digitalization.
Frank Lubischer has been the new President of Brose North America since March 1. The automotive engineer has lived in the USA for 18 years and has almost 30 years of experience in the automotive supplier industry, including at Lucas/TRW. Lubischer comes from steering system specialist Nexteer, where he was responsible for strategy, technology and global engineering.
Niklas Beyes will become the new Chief Financial Officer of the Brose Group on May 1. The business graduate has over 20 years of financial experience in the automotive industry. Among other things, Beyes was CFO Europe at Schaeffler KG, a member of the management board of SKF GmbH Germany and most recently CFO of the FTE automotive Group in Ebern.
These appointments complete Brose's changes to the Executive Board. On January 1, Kurt Sauernheimer, previously Executive Vice President Door Systems, also took over as Chairman of the Executive Board. The Executive Vice Presidents Seating Systems and Purchasing had swapped their management responsibilities at the same time. kp
