Mobile and precise component testing
At Control, Hahn+Kolb will be presenting the new Q10 CHD-Master low-load hardness tester from Qness for testing hardness gradients on surface-hardened components, the Sonodur2 mobile UCI hardness tester, the HK-MAT FP automatic dispenser for the safe storage of measuring and testing equipment and the Multirap 800 industrial 3D printer from Multec.
The new Q10 CHD-Master low-load hardness tester is an entry-level model aimed at users who need to quickly check hardness curves on surface-hardened components. Equipped with a six-position tool changer, different test methods can be used: In addition to CHD, NHD, SHD and series measurements, individual measurements are also possible. The clear software interface and the 3D operating concept are designed to make handling intuitive. Thanks to an autosnap function, the row starting point is automatically aligned; the test row can be positioned quickly and easily and the test run is fully automatic. According to Hahn+Kolb, a special feature is the Optimum Stop function, which closes the test run immediately if the hardness falls below the limit. This saves unnecessary test times.
Fast mobile hardness testing
The Sonodur2 mobile UCI hardness tester enables fast hardness testing in production and quality assurance. The intuitively operated device is particularly suitable for testing tasks on series parts after heat treatment or surface treatment. It also uses highly selective low-load motor probes to test weld seams or coating hardness on gravure cylinders in accordance with EN ISO 18265 standards. The Sonodur2 can be used for a wide range of applications, testing materials from aluminium to hard metal. Depending on the application - for example for measuring positions that are difficult to access - manual, motorized or long probes are available with test forces of between one and 100 newtons.
The safe storage of high-quality measuring and testing equipment is a key challenge in the production environment. With the new HK-MAT FP automatic flap system, Hahn+Kolb offers a suitable solution for this with up to 72 individually locked storage locations. Once the required agent has been selected, the corresponding storage location is displayed and released via an LED light. For test equipment, the user also has the option of entering the corresponding calibration cycles so that the system reminds the user to check the equipment in good time.
Industrial 3D printer Multirap M800
Thanks to its large installation space, the M800 is ideal for use in industrial companies that use rapid tooling and rapid manufacturing to reliably produce large quantities. At the heart of the M800 is the patented Multec4Move multiple print head. With the special automatic nozzle changing system, four different plastics or colors can be applied - absolutely clean and drip-free. This reduces post-processing work to a minimum. The company also refers to the different nozzle sizes. Depending on the type of application, large nozzles speed up the printing process, for example when it comes to printing filling structures. The Multirap M800 also precisely builds up water-soluble support material, which can be easily washed off the finished component. as
