Measured value display
SMC develops new series
According to the manufacturer, the new PSE300AC series of measured value displays from SMC Germany have two unique selling points: Firstly, they can display the measured value, parameter and switching point in three sub-segments simultaneously. Secondly, they are equipped with an M12 connection cable on the front so that maintenance and replacement work can be carried out in no time at all.
In practice, customers can benefit from the three-part display. For example, complex adjustment processes can be carried out in parallel with ongoing measurements. Interruptions are therefore obsolete. The three-color LCD display in red, orange and green also allows quick reading at a glance. The persistent memory stores the measured values permanently. It records the measured minimum and maximum values and makes them available after switching off.
The measured value displays can be used for any sensor that has a voltage or current output of 1-5 VDC or 4-20 mA. Their switching output can be switched between NPN or PNP. Users therefore need to keep fewer items and references in stock, saving storage space and storage costs. The protection class corresponds to IP65. They are therefore also protected for harsh applications: Even splashing water or oil does not bother them. At just 1 millisecond, their switching time is fast. ee
