The 160 gram lightweight device in an aluminum housing is equipped with a redundant Hall sensor that can detect up to 64 revolutions. The sensor is suitable for applications in construction machinery, mobile elevating work platforms and as a rotary encoder for cable pull systems for length measurement. The signal is output via a CAN bus interface using CANopen or CANopen safety protocol. With its internal signal monitoring and error detection, the sensor is also suitable for safety-relevant applications in the PLd category. The IP67-rated encoder is designed for a temperature range of minus 30 to plus 80 degrees Celsius and has a shock resistance of 25g and a vibration resistance of 4g. as
