The modules support Profisafe and, from the fourth quarter of 2024, also CIP Safety in order to seamlessly integrate safety-relevant and non-safety-relevant signals in PLCs. This enables the products to efficiently transfer safety data via existing networks. With TÜV Rheinland certification up to SIL 3, Cat 4 and performance level e (PLe), the modules offer high safety standards. Features include the simple integration of safety and diagnostic data via standardized files in PLC engineering tools as well as the flexibility to connect safety inputs, non-safety-related I/O modules and IO-Link signals and communicate with the cloud.
