The new STS step conveyor from RNA
Rhein-Nadel Automation GmbH has completely redesigned its step conveyors. The new generation of RNA step conveyors from the STS series are available in 2 different sizes.
As a basic device in parts feeding, the step feeder is designed so that the associated stationary hopper can be filled by hand due to its low filling height. The size of the hopper can be adjusted to suit the workpieces. The workpieces are conveyed upwards out of the bunker sump by means of counter-rotating lifting plates and thus reach the desired transfer height without any further conveyor technology. The workpieces are pre-sorted by the upward transport and the shape of the lifting plates. The lifting plates can also be fitted with anti-trap protection if required.
The step conveyor works almost silently and vibration-free without workpieces. With a range of linear sorting systems matched to the STS series, RNA offers a high-performance overall concept for specific feeding technology tasks, from linear conveyors to belt conveyors. This range is characterized by high output rates even with the smallest sorting features. More information at www.RNA.de
