The solution meets all the cybersecurity requirements of the German Federal Office for Information Security. With this highly secure solution, industrial companies can also use remote services in critical areas in order to avoid downtimes and save costs through fast maintenance access via the Internet. The core of the remote maintenance solution for industrial machinery is a Rendezvous server, which is installed in the demilitarized zone next to the firewall. Both the maintenance service and the machine operator establish encrypted connections to this server at the agreed time. Only when they rendezvous on the central server is the end-to-end maintenance connection to the machine being serviced established.
