Lots of robotics in the Application Park

With new and exciting robotics applications, the Application Park is once again one of the highlights of this year's Hannover Messe. On display will be intelligent robot systems, autonomously driving devices in use, the latest AI applications in robotics, image recognition tools and virtual platforms.

Modern robots are increasingly taking on high-precision tasks that require maximum accuracy. Thanks to the use of artificial intelligence, they are becoming ever more flexible and intelligent and can take on far more complex tasks than just a few years ago. Around 30 companies will be presenting exciting and modern applications at the Application Park.

French company Inbolt offers an intelligent, adaptable solution for robot guidance: with a 3D camera mounted directly on the robot, it can instantly locate and position parts in real time thanks to AI-powered algorithms and smoothly adjust its movements on the fly to achieve the best results. Inbolt's solution is suitable for simple pick-and-place tasks through to more complicated assembly work. With AI-driven software that tracks and adjusts moving parts in real time, Inbolt enables the automation of moving assembly lines without interrupting production. This takes productivity and efficiency to a whole new level.

"Voraus Robotik" from Hanover shows how modern information technology (IT) can be reliably and robustly combined with industrial automation (OT). The core components are the automation software voraus.core and the development environment voraus.pioneer, which can be used to create, simulate, optimize and execute agnostic solutions. Thanks to high-level languages, the integration of existing IT infrastructure and current AI processes is possible without restrictions.

Mobile robots on the rise

Mobile industrial robots such as AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) or IMRs (Industrial Mobile Robots) make up a large part of the exhibits in the Application Park. Conductix-Wampfler from Weil am Rhein offers solutions for them that increase efficiency and reliability in intralogistics and automotive manufacturing. The portfolio includes charging contacts such as Enduro+ and Nano+ as well as inductive charging with the WirelessCharger 3.0 to ensure optimum energy management. The energy storage systems maximize uptime.

When it comes to bulky loads and heavy transport goods, the Swabian family business Blickle comes into play, because in-house processes require speed and flexibility. With Ergomove, Blickle presents an intelligent solution: the Ergomove electric drive systems move loads of up to 4,000 kilograms safely, intuitively and without manual effort.

Pro Spot Germany from Donaueschingen is coming to Hanover with the new "15s Smart Spot welding cobot". The manual spot welding system has been seamlessly integrated into a safe, user-friendly cobot-automated welding work cell. This means that fully automated spot welding is also possible in production plants without the need for complex safety cells and protective devices.

Indunorm Bewegungstechnik from Duisburg presents a floor trolley for a wide range of robot applications, for example with articulated robots or linear axis robots. The floor axis makes the robot mobile, as it has an additional axis and therefore a larger radius of action. The chassis lies flat on the floor and fits into any production environment.
