Cooperation between Hannover Messe and DRV
They are everywhere!
Robotics is an integral part of the Hannover Messe. Robots of all shapes and sizes, from industrial robots and cobots to autonomous mobile robots, can be found throughout the exhibition grounds of the world's most important industrial trade fair. A special highlight this year is the Application Park in Hall 5, which has a strong partner at its side in the form of the German Robotics Association (DRV).
Among other things, the DRV has set itself the task of promoting the use of robotics in Germany. In view of the shortage of skilled workers, there is certainly potential. In a global comparison, Germany ranks fifth after China, Japan, Korea and the USA. "With the robotics experts from the DRV, we have partners at our side with whom we will further expand the topic of robotics at the Hannover Messe in conjunction with automation. There is no better place in the world to showcase the various application examples of robotics," says Hubertus von Monschaw, Global Director Hannover Messe at Deutsche Messe.
DRV becomes exclusive partner of the Application Park
Next year, the DRV will be the exclusive partner of the Application Park, where young robotics companies and start-ups in particular will present the wide range of possible applications for robots and the interaction between humans, machines and artificial intelligence. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience robotics-supported automation up close and try it out for themselves. One highlight will be the driverless transport systems, which will show that drivers can be dispensed with in many areas in the future. "This exhibition platform offers visitors to the trade fair a unique opportunity to get to grips with new technologies and find out how the enormous challenges facing the industry can be partially solved by robotics, AI and automation," says Helmut Schmid, CEO of the DRV.
Robotics Congress on February 6 and 7 in Hanover
A good two months before the Hannover Messe, the 13th Robotics Congress will take place on February 6 and 7, 2024 at the Technology Academy in Hanover. Participants can find out about the latest developments and trends in robotics in plenary sessions or workshops, which they can then experience live at the Hannover Messe. The conceptual partner is the DRV, which is providing support with the program.
