Yamaha Robotics announces that Ai Nagakubo has been appointed to the position of Branch Manager at the company's European headquarters in Neuss near Düsseldorf, Germany, effective January 1, 2024. Ai Nagakubo has been a team member since the branch was founded in 2011.

Ai Nagakubo has worked for Yamaha Robotics since its founding days in 2011. She is now taking over the management of the subsidiary. Previously, as Corporate Department Manager, she was responsible for finance, human resources and logistics and worked closely with Yamaha Corporation in Japan.

Focus on sales growth and cooperation with partners

As Branch Manager, Ai Nagakubo will oversee both divisions of Yamaha Robotics, Surface Mount Technology and Factory Automation to ensure continuous business development with a focus on sales growth and cooperation with distributors and technical partners. Both divisions are rapidly introducing new innovations, including Smart Factory software to support advanced surface mount assembly, AI-powered optical inspection, and new platforms for part assembly and stencil printing, including the award-winning YRM20DL dual-track pick and place machine. The Factory Automation division introduced new industrial robots, including flexible transport modules and a new cost-efficient Scara model for cleanroom applications such as semiconductor manufacturing, food processing and medical device assembly, as well as innovative handling solutions developed together with system integration partners.
