Panel PCs and Control Panels

Entry-level class with widescreen

The new price/performance class from Beckhoff, which started with seven-inch devices, has been expanded to include three built-in panels with a 10.1-inch widescreen display.

In addition to the seven-inch devices, the entry-level touch panel class offers new versions with an enlarged user interface of 10.1 inches.

This allows PC-based control technology in the cost-sensitive, lower and medium performance range to be scaled even more finely and adapted more precisely to the respective application requirements.

The TFT touch display of the new panels opens up comprehensive operating and visualization options with the modern widescreen format in 1,024 x 600 WSVGA resolution. In addition, the 10.1-inch diagonal has a display with 16.7 million colors. This means that the product range also includes two fanless Panel PCs and a purely passive Control Panel, which can be used to cost-effectively solve control or visualization tasks for small and medium-sized machines, production systems or buildings: The CP6600 Panel PC with 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU and 1 GB DDR3 RAM memory, the CP6700 Panel PC with Intel Atom processor (up to 1.91 GHz, four cores) and 2 GB DDR3L RAM (expandable to up to 8 GB) and the CP6900 Control Panel with DVI/USB Extended technology for operation at a distance of up to 50 meters from the industrial PC.

Thanks to the robust housing with aluminum front and sheet steel cover on the back, the devices offer higher quality and durability than the plastic panels commonly used in the low-cost segment. In addition, the high-quality material and the rounded front panel ensure a modern and attractive appearance of the panels, which can be used at operating temperatures of zero to 55 degrees Celsius in various production and building environments. as
