Laying of the foundation stone
Binder builds new main plant
Binder, the specialist for circular connectors, has laid the foundation stone for a new main plant at its Neckarsulm site. A new building is being constructed in Rötelstraße, which will provide space for production, logistics, offices, social rooms and a canteen.
The 125 meter long, 68 meter wide and 26 meter high new building in Rötelstrasse is being built in two phases. The first began on March 29 with the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone. For Markus Binder, Managing Partner of the Binder Group, the new building is a milestone and an essential part of the company's future strategy: "With the new building, we are securing the future of Binder in the long term and ensuring that we will continue to meet the demands of our customers and the market in the future."
Everything under one roof
The new building will enable the company to benefit from shorter distances, faster decisions and more efficient processes. In the first construction phase, a new logistics area with incoming and outgoing goods and a high-bay warehouse, a canteen with a roof terrace and social rooms will also be built by 2020. Employees will benefit from modern office environments with ergonomic workstations once the second construction phase is completed, which is planned for 2023.
