Kawalek is a long-standing trading partner of Atlas Copco in the Berlin area.

The company will be acquired by KDS Kompressoren- und Druckluftservice GmbH, a subsidiary of Atlas Copco Holding GmbH based in Essen. The business will continue to operate from its current location in Berlin.

"Kawalek Kompressoren has a strong customer base consisting of many small and medium-sized companies in the region," says Vagner Rego, President of the Compressor Technique division. "With this acquisition, we can stay close to our customers and increase our market presence in Berlin and the surrounding area."

The purchase price is subordinated to Atlas Copco's market capitalization and will not be disclosed.
