The cobot market is still booming and is forecast to grow by around 50 percent per year until 2025. Keeping track of which end effector is the right one for which robot and which application is becoming increasingly complex. And this is precisely where OnRobot comes in: Grippers, sensors and software should come from a single source, be immediately available and as easy to set up as possible. "We see it as our task to meet the growing demand for plug & play solutions in a timely manner. Our entire product portfolio already stands for simple and intuitive end-of-arm tooling," says Enrico Krog Iversen, CEO of OnRobot.

The company is increasingly focusing on making its products accessible to users of all common robot manufacturers. In addition to robot models from Kuka, Fanuc, Kawasaki and Universal Robots, applications with robots from Techman, Doosan and Yaskawa will also be on display. "System integrators and end users should no longer have to worry about the compatibility of end effectors, sensors or the like in future," says Krog Iversen. "Faster commissioning means lower costs and a faster return on investment for companies."

Further acquisitions planned
In June 2018, OnRobot was formed from the merger of On Robot, Perception Robotics and OptoForce. The Danish start-up Purple Robotics followed in September 2018 and expanded the product portfolio to include a vacuum gripper, which will also be on show at the Hannover Messe in practical applications. In order to achieve the company's ambitious goals, further acquisitions are planned for the future: "This is just the beginning," says Krog Iversen. "We are planning to integrate more start-ups with innovative end-of-arm tooling into our company." For the product range, this should mean an increase of a good 40 products within two years and should also include vision solutions in addition to grippers, sensors and software. as
