According to the company, the new generation of milling cutters is characterized by 20 to 40 percent higher cutting values compared to the previous series - depending on the material. Tool life is also expected to increase by 30 to 40 percent.

This is made possible by a revised cutting edge geometry that optimizes chip flow. The modified core geometry protects against vibrations even at high wrap angles. According to Ceratizit, the increased core diameter also ensures higher breaking strength. The new multilayer coating has a high temperature resistance among its properties. This means that the new generation of milling cutters is also suitable for dry machining. The tools are available for roughing and finishing in HA shank versions and optionally with internal cooling.
