Peter Tausend new board member of the VDMA clamping fixtures department
Peter Tausend, Managing Director of the Mapal Competence Center Chucks, was elected 1st Chairman of the VDMA Clamping Tools Division in the field of precision tools.
The election, which takes place every four years, was held on the occasion of the VDMA Precision Tools Board meeting at Tegernsee. Peter Tausend has already been active in the VDMA for 15 years, for 13 years as 2nd Chairman of the Clamping Tools Division. In taking over as 1st Chairman, Tausend succeeds Hans-Joachim Molka, who was no longer available for the position.
Philipp Ehrhardt von Römheld was appointed as the new 2nd board member of the specialist department for clamping tools.
