For more power in the machine tool
SKF will be showcasing performance-enhancing bearing solutions for machine tools at EMO Hannover. These include the axial angular contact ball bearings for lead screws from the Beam (Fig.) and Beas series. The high-precision bearings for lead screws in machine tools are characterized by high load carrying capacity and rigidity.
Also new are the Silent Series bearings, which, according to the company, run particularly cool and quietly thanks to the improved design of their cages. Contamination is prevented by seals. Optimized tolerances and new markings ensure that they can be matched more easily. The specification can be called up via the SuPB Data Manager app by scanning a data matrix code on the packaging or bearing.
