Condition monitoring of machine tools

SKF and Fanuc offer a software platform for the automated detection of condition anomalies in machine tools.

With the help of Fanuc'sfield system and SKF 's IMx condition monitoring technology, the condition of spindles can be predicted based on vibration, temperature, speed and process data. The corresponding measured values are displayed in existing field system dashboards.

Below the system interface, parameters and threshold values are set and adjusted for each machine based on real, statistical data. A real-time comparison of the storage performance of several connected machines with identical settings provides additional information.
