5-axis machining center
For CNC-controlled, vertical milling and turning operations
The 5-axis machining center FZ 16 S five axis from Chiron was designed in gantry construction with a 5-axis swivel rotary table and, according to the company, meets all the requirements of mold making with regard to high surface quality and dimensional accuracy of the workpieces.
The machining center from Chiron is equipped with the new 24-inch TouchLine panel as standard, which is characterized by its intuitive operability. The user interface is adapted in a task-oriented and context-sensitive manner. The integrated ConditionLine and ProtectLine software systems from the machine tool manufacturer's SmartLine portfolio are also new. ConditionLine enables plannable maintenance work and repairs, while ProtectLine protects the physical machine preventively against collisions by means of a digital twin.
