The storage and transport equipment expert recently added new stair climbers to its sales program, which round off the existing product portfolio in the up and down segment. "This enables us to supply our customers with stair-climbing transport equipment for really any goods and terrain," says Sebastian Krayenborg, Managing Director of Karl H. Bartels.

The Ibex model with a low tare weight of 26 kg and the maneuverability of a stair truck can move loads of up to 150 kg. It is therefore ideal for transporting white goods or for parcel services. The frame can be folded up to save space during transportation. The Goral stair climber can also be folded, but with a tare weight of 38 kg it can move up to 220 kg and is therefore suitable for building materials, vending machines and stoves, for example. The handle can be extended so that even very high goods can be transported safely.

For particularly heavy loads, Bartels presents the all-terrain climbing systems from Movex - above all the Track-O Twin-Track 66 track system. The modular track system moves up to 1 t on level ground. It also climbs stairs with an angle of inclination of up to 40 degrees and carries loads of up to 500 kg. The load capacity is increased for less steep stairs. The basic model can be supplemented with a jib crane with a reach of 5 m, a lift table for picking up larger equipment, a tipping skip for bulk goods and waste and many other attachments such as the Greengo lifting system.

For particularly fast availability of pallets in the warehouse, Bartels presents the DStacker pallet magazine. It dispenses one of up to 65 pallets every 10 seconds and does not require a power connection, pneumatics or hydraulics. "The DStacker is designed for particularly high pallet turnover," says Krayenborg. "In addition, pallets are stored safely and in a space-saving manner and accidents caused by manual pallet handling or falling pallets are avoided."

For the storage of long goods, the family-run company also has an innovation from its own production in its range: the rigid honeycomb shelving is now also available for pallet racking. It is available in either a single or double-sided version, so that leftover long goods can also be stored in any standard pallet rack in a space-saving and clearly arranged manner.
