It's about continuity and renewal, two opposing concepts that complement each other perfectly in the current global economic situation in times of rapid change. And so Messe Düsseldorf has decided to reorganize its largest portfolio of wire, Tube & Flow Technologies with around 15 trade fairs in six countries.

Since September 1, 2020, Daniel Ryfisch has been Project Director of the world's leading trade fairs wire, Tube and Valve World Expo and their international satellites in China, Thailand, Brazil, Russia and India. He is thus responsible both for the strategic orientation within the trade fair themes and for expanding the international trade fair business.

He will also report to Friedrich-Georg Kehrer, who as Global Portfolio Director will focus on developing new business areas in the wire, tube & flow technologies sector.

Ryfisch brings with him a wealth of experience from the international and national trade fair business. After several stays abroad in the USA and Asia, the 39-year-old economics graduate started as a trainee at Messe Düsseldorf in 2007 and worked there from 2008 as a project officer for the global satellites of the wire, Tube and Metec trade fairs in Russia, India, China and the United Arab Emirates. He has been responsible for wire and Tube at an operational level as Deputy Director since 2015

"Both wire and Tube as well as the industrial fittings trade fair Valve World Expo are global players in their sectors and therefore world leaders. As the most important driving forces, they provide the industry with a strong orientation," emphasizes Daniel Ryfisch.

As Division Director, Bernd Jablonowski is responsible for the entire portfolio of Division 1, consisting of the trade fair themes wire, Tube & Flow Technologies, Metallurgy & Foundry Technologies, Energy Storage and Processing & Packaging.
