Changing and transporting heavy tools
Römheld has expanded its range of roller and ball rails for the quick change and transportation of heavy tools.
In addition to versions with a 1 mm or 2 mm stroke, there are now also versions that raise the tool by 3 mm as standard. In addition, the rollers and balls can now be configured with smaller distances of just 1 mm, so that high load capacities are possible even in small spaces. The operating pressure for the hydraulic bar versions is freely selectable up to 120 bar.
The rails are used in T-slots on press and machine tables as well as on transport trolleys. They lift loads hydraulically or with spring force, are made of either aluminum or steel and can alternatively be fastened with a clamp lock or a latch. Equipped with rollers, tools can be pushed and positioned linearly; loads can be moved in any direction using balls.
