Third phase for new concepts

The Arena2036 innovation platform, which is located on the Stuttgart-Vaihingen university campus, is now officially entering its third funding phase, which will run for five years.

This is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). At the research campus, companies such as Bosch, Mercedes-Benz and Siemens test and implement new technologies and concepts in the fields of mobility, production, connectivity and sustainability together with over 50 other members from industry and science. In the current phase, four new projects - Well-defined, CARpulse, EcoFrame and Connect4HCA - are being implemented that focus on the scientific priorities.

The third phase is particularly important, as Arena2036 is set to develop from a funded research campus into a self-sufficient platform over the next five years. The numerous projects are not only intended to promote the German start-up culture and SMEs, but in particular to use the proximity to universities to sustainably promote and retain local talent.
