SEW-Eurodrive acquires stake in BBH Products
SEW-Eurodrive has acquired a 34% stake in BBH Products. BBH Products will continue to operate independently on the market in the future.
The recently signed cooperation between SEW-Eurodrive and BBH Products emphasizes the joint commitment of both companies to technological progress and safe solution concepts.
BBH Products is based in Weiden, Upper Palatinate, and offers a wide range of products and solutions in the field of functional safety for various industries such as factory automation, automotive, mechanical engineering, robotics and logistics. For company founder Gerhard Bauer, this partnership is a significant milestone: "By working together with SEW-Eurodrive, we can combine our strengths and develop innovative, safe complete solutions. This cooperation enables us to expand our market presence and offer our customers even better solutions with worldwide support." With his son Nicolas Bauer joining the management team, the generational change at BBH Products is being initiated at the same time.
Dr. Hans Krattenmacher, Managing Director Innovation Mechatronics at SEW-Eurodrive, is looking forward to the future opportunities: "This partnership enables SEW-Eurodrive to sell all relevant products from BBH Products as a brand label and to produce them itself. From now on, we will jointly define and develop further solutions and work together intensively in production."
