Trade fair for production and assembly automation streamlined to three days

The 43rd Motek, international trade fair for production and assembly automation, will take place together with the 18th Bondexpo, international trade fair for bonding technology, from October 7 to 9, 2025 in Stuttgart.

The three-day autumn event offers the manufacturing industry solutions for future-proof and efficient automation. The traditional trade fair double is intended to provide new impetus in terms of efficiency and flexibility.

"Preparations for Motek/Bondexpo 2025 are in full swing," announces Rainer Bachert, the long-standing project manager of the traditional trade fair at trade fair organizer P. E. Schall. "Stand planning is just around the corner. Interested exhibitors are cordially invited to use this proven technology and business platform to meet their target group in person."

The trade fair organizer has streamlined the traditional Motek/Bondexpo trade fair to three days in order to enable exhibitors and trade visitors from the manufacturing industry to enjoy an efficient stay. In 2025, a theme-focused supporting program clearly prepared for the target group will once again complement a successful visit to the trade fair, support networking and initiate new business contacts.

Topics along the entire production value chain

Manufacturing companies have major challenges to overcome - the focus is on efficiency, cost-effectiveness and resource conservation, while the shortage of skilled workers must also be compensated for. During the practice-oriented exchange in a topic-focused working atmosphere, production automation experts will discuss how manufacturing processes can be further improved at the proven industry platform Motek/Bondexpo.

The spectrum of the trade fair covers topics along the production process chain - including networked, smart production components and systems, assembly assistance systems and workstation systems, solutions for easy implementation and commissioning, object recognition and image processing, feeding technology and software. The traditional trade fair offers suitable components and solutions for future-proof processes to anyone who wants to automate a production process or function. The trade fair topics cover the digitalization of production components and easy entry into automation as well as sustainability as an economic success factor. For example, robotics in assembly and handling, examples of the use of AI in production, automatic part recognition for inline part detection, software for assembly planning and the convergence of testing and production with flexible quality control will be on show.

From the component to the system

"Motek/Bondexpo is the ideal business platform for production solutions along the entire value chain," emphasizes Bachert. "Automation - future-proof and efficient, that's our motto again in 2025." The trade fair deals with solutions for the economical production and assembly automation of components and assemblies as well as subsystems through to complete systems. It addresses the target group of manufacturing companies from all sectors - machine, device and plant construction, automotive engineering and vehicle construction, plastics processing, metalworking and processing, woodworking, electronics and electrical engineering as well as automation users in the fields of laboratory automation, healthcare and medical technology.

For all of them, cost-effectiveness, efficiency and flexibility have top priority in order to be successful on the market. The goal is therefore automation - it must be easy to implement and include future-proof solutions. "This is where Motek/Bondexpo comes in," explains Bachert. "All exhibitors from this sector are cordially invited to participate as suppliers!"
