LogiMAT, the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management, is opening the 2025 trade fair year for logistics experts, system developers and machine builders under the motto "Passion for Solutions". The intralogistics world from more than 80 nations will once again meet in the ten fully booked halls of the Stuttgart exhibition grounds and the entire East Entrance area from March 11 to 13 this year. More than 1,500 international exhibitors, around 200 of whom are exhibiting at LogiMAT for the first time, will be presenting their latest products, solutions and innovations for efficient intralogistics to trade visitors on over 120,000 square meters of exhibition space.

"Against the backdrop of global upheaval and the current far-reaching transformation in industry and trade, LogiMAT has a special role to play this year," says LogiMAT Exhibition Director Michael Ruchty from Munich-based organizer EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH. "Above all, the key topics of artificial intelligence (AI), sustainability and the shortage of labor and skilled workers are overarching megatrends and drivers of a wide range of challenges. At LogiMAT, exhibitors across all industry segments will showcase solutions and the latest developments to effectively meet these challenges."

Investment performance and sustainability

For example, racking and machine manufacturers, system integrators and conveyor technology providers will be presenting new compact storage systems for pallets and container storage, new pocket sorters and system shuttles with new features in Hall 1, including the gallery, and Halls 3, 5 and 7. In addition to AI-supported automation and digitalization, the traditionally strongest exhibitor group is increasingly linking system performance with the topic of sustainability. Flexible system solutions with high energy efficiency and reusable components are intended to support the longevity of systems and the future viability of investments. In addition, the integration of robot technology for smooth cooperation between man and machine complements the product portfolio presented by several exhibitors in this industry segment.

AGVs, AMRs and carrybots for barrier-free transportation

In the intralogistics sector, industrial robots are seen as a key factor in optimizing processes and helping to combat labour shortages. The latest developments in the field of picking robots can be seen in the gallery in Hall 1, among other places. In addition to shuttles for racked storage systems, several machine and system manufacturers will also be presenting new and further developed service robots for barrier-free in-house transportation. These automated guided vehicles (AGVs), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and carrybots will also be largely concentrated in Hall 8 at LogiMAT 2025. This is where the specialized manufacturers will be presenting new developments in transport robots and order picking robots in particular, which are intended to alleviate the labor shortage. In addition, the mobile robotics user forum in the gallery in Hall 6 will also offer AGV users and potential interested parties in mobile robotics expert, neutral advice from members of the AGV Forum in 2025.

Forklift manufacturers offer innovations and world premieres

The further development of AGVs, conventional industrial trucks and assistance systems will also determine the forklift truck manufacturers' presentations in Hall 9 and Hall 10, located opposite on the south wing of the exhibition grounds. Once again, all major international industry players will be represented at LogiMAT 2025 with their latest product range. Among other things, the manufacturers have already announced the presentation of new 3- and 4-wheel forklift trucks, new counterbalance trucks for the segment up to two tons, a new series of electric sideloaders and the market premiere of the world's first automated cobot for pallet transport. Exhibitors will also be launching innovations in the field of alternative drives and providing insights into the near and distant future of intralogistics through robots, drones and autonomous vehicles. In Halls 9 and 7, trade visitors will also find the latest developments from suppliers of cranes, gates and loading technology as well as innovative devices and solutions for fire protection.

Sustainability and process efficiency

Right next to Hall 8, exhibitors of packaging technology and suppliers of container and storage solutions will be presenting their current product range in Hall 6. Against the backdrop of the new EU packaging regulation, the sustainability aspect is particularly important in these product segments. This is reflected, among other things, in offers for right-size packaging, strapping machines with paper straps, intelligent reusable packaging and reusable labels. Furthermore, new high-performance packaging lines, advanced mobile transport systems, innovative scanner hardware, RTLS and RFID solutions, e-paper and radio-controlled digital labels as well as sensor-supported high-speed doors will support process efficiency in the warehouse.

AI-based functions and algorithms

The basis for the networked exchange of information in intralogistics and the supply chain is an intelligent IT infrastructure, in addition to AutoID technologies for coding and recording. The latest IT solutions for future-proof warehouse, transport and supply chain management with end-to-end networked data exchange will be presented by the software companies at LogiMAT 2025 in Hall 4. In addition to the coordinated control of efficient processes and comprehensive cloud solutions that reduce investment costs for users, this year's focus is often on the modularization of systems as well as AI-based functions and algorithms for intelligent filtering and analysis of data. Among other things, the innovations on show enable packing and packing scheme optimization, AI-supported process optimization for trailer, container and swap body exchange and far-reaching simulations with virtual commissioning or the creation of digital twins of production and logistics processes for analysis and optimization.

Labeling and recording directly in the material flow

Exhibitors from the AutoID industry will complete the tour of the hall with their presence in Hall 2. In addition to the AIM-D's live event Tracking & Tracing Theatre (T&TT), trade visitors will be able to take a look at the latest applicators and semi-automatic and fully automatic labeling and label printing systems for marking directly in the material flow. The latest developments in security, e-paper, RFID and returnable labels will also be presented. In the field of capture systems, trade visitors can expect to see the latest hand scanners and scantores, measuring and weighing systems as well as near-field and RTLS solutions.

"In combination with the updated supporting program, LogiMAT, as the central international industry meeting place, gives exhibitors and trade visitors a head start on information about the latest trends right at the start of the year and at the same time planning security for new projects," sums up Exhibition Director Ruchty. "LogiMAT provides comprehensive knowledge as well as future-proof products and solutions for practical applications. In view of the ongoing challenges posed by digitalization, automation and geopolitical upheaval, we expect visitor numbers to rise once again and look forward to three exciting days at the trade fair in Stuttgart."
