Owner family re-enters the operating business
For the first time in almost 20 years, the Lenze Group's owner family is returning to the operational side of the business. Lena Günther and Dr. Moritz Belling take on management roles and are to help shape the automation specialist's future program.
The Lenze Group, based in Aerzen, is bringing the owner family back into operational responsibility: Dr. Moritz Belling (34) has held the position of Director Transformation since 5 September 2025. He is responsible for strategic projects in the CEO department and reports to CEO Marc Wucherer. Both new additions have experience in venture capital, private equity and management consulting.
Dr. Belling was most recently Principal at the European venture capital investor Earlybird and previously worked as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, advising family businesses in the areas of strategy, restructuring and governance. Dr. Belling completed his academic education in London, Beijing and Munich. In 2020, he received his doctorate from the Technical University of Berlin as Dr. rer. oec.
