Cooperation with iTec
Kemper expands market presence in Norway
iTec AS is Kemper's new sales partner and is now the exclusive distributor of the entire Kemper product portfolio in Norway. The company has an extensive dealer network with around 150 specialist welding dealers throughout the country.
"The cooperation with iTec opens up new ways for us to establish our brand and products more strongly in Scandinavia," says Jochen Kemper, Export Manager at Kemper. This will give metalworkers in Norway easier and faster access to Kemper products. The global supplier sells cutting machines, machine tools and laser systems, among other things.
For iTec, the collaboration means a comprehensive expansion of its portfolio in the area of occupational safety. One of the most important customers is the offshore industry, which manufactures drilling and production platforms, for example, using various welding and cutting processes.
"Employee health is a high priority even for smaller Norwegian companies. Occupational health and safety is therefore a top priority," says Jochen Kemper. The first joint customer projects are already underway. In future, the company will train iTec employees in all technical matters at the Vreden site.
