The handling award has become something of a ceremonial highlight of Motek in Stuttgart. Just in time for the end of the trade fair at 5 p.m., almost 70 guests gathered in the Congress Center for the awards gala. Live music and a three-course dinner buffet accompanied the presentation of the awards.

Thanks to the impressive quality and number of entries submitted, the jury was able to award prizes in all four categories this year. The prize for the best start-up was awarded for the first time this year to recognize the entrepreneurial courage and engineering innovation of young talent.

The Readers' Award was also presented for the first time. This gave handling readers the opportunity to get to know the remarkable submissions and contribute their own specialist knowledge and experience. Almost 700 readers took part in the vote. By far the most online.
