If you want to be successful in the long term, you cannot escape the digital transformation. However, the Industrial Internet of Things is also bringing different disciplines ever closer together, with two worlds colliding, especially with OT and IT. On the one side are the experts for processes and production, on the other the specialists for IT, data analysis and software.

The "OT meets IT" congress brings together the two worlds of OT (Operational Technology) and IT (Information Technology).

What knowledge do the two areas bring to production? How and what can OT and IT learn from each other? How can OT expertise be mapped in IT solutions? How and which solutions can be developed together? What best practice examples are there? What does employee management look like in times of digitalization?

Are you an OT expert or IT specialist? Then submit your proposal for a presentation or workshop to [email protected]!

Proposals can be submitted on the following topics, among others:

  • Artificial intelligence in industry and production: basics, machine learning, deep learning, programming, neural networks, etc.
  • Embedded systems for industry for production: embedded software, edge computing, communication boards, single-board computers in production, retrofitting, etc.
  • Security: data security, IT security protection of production data, data protection, data law, etc.
  • Cloud systems and IoT platforms: Adamos, Axoom, Mindsphere, Leonardo, AWS, ThingWorx, Watson, Azure and Co, etc.
  • Smart sensor systems: sensors for production, sensor data analysis, etc.
  • Networking and communication: TSN/OPC UA, umati, Industrial Ethernet, standardization, etc.
  • Digital twin and simulation: tool simulation, process and product simulation, system simulation, etc.
  • Data analysis: process data analysis, selection of relevant data, big data analytics, predictive maintenance, etc.
  • Software and management systems: Knowledge management, master data management, supply chain management, tool lifecycle management, product lifecycle management, ERP, MES, etc.
  • Employee management in digitalization: further training, management methods, employee motivation, etc.

You have the opportunity to help shape the content of the program until 8 February 2019. Please submit your interesting proposal for a lecture or workshop to the following email address: [email protected]

  • Title and abstract (max. 3000 characters of pure text)
  • Length of the presentation (lecture 30 min / workshop 1.5 or 3 h)
