Restructuring
BigRep: CEO Dr. Stephan Beyer moves to an advisory role
BigRep, developer and manufacturer of large-format 3D printers and solutions for additive manufacturing based in Berlin, is restructuring its management.
CEO, Dr. Stephan Beyer, will move from the management board to an advisory role on July 1, 2019. His responsibilities will be transferred to the existing management team, which consists of Co-Managing Director Martin Back, Daniel Büning (CIO), Frank Marangell (CBO) and Stefan Kaufmann (Head of R&D).
"We would like to thank Stephan Beyer for his successful work and are delighted that he will continue to support BigRep in the future with his expertise and network," says Dr. Christian Reitberger, Chairman of the BigRep Advisory Board.
Stephan Beyer has succeeded in building BigRep into an innovative company with 90 employees and offices in Boston and Singapore. He has also been able to attract high-caliber investors and industrial partners such as Bosch Rexroth, Etihad Airways and Ford to the BigRep network. In addition, BigRep has established itself internationally as an innovation leader thanks to pioneering prototypes such as the first fully 3D-printed electric motorcycle Nera.
"I am proud that with BigRep we have not only advanced digital production with reliable technology for our customers, but have also established BigRep as a visionary pioneer in additive manufacturing. This would not have been possible without the incredible commitment and outstanding skills of our employees - I would therefore like to express my special thanks to them for the many years of trusting collaboration," said Stephan Beyer.
