Auvesy opens US branch
Auvesy, a provider of data management software for industrial automation headquartered in Germany, is further expanding its business activities in the USA. Until now, consulting and sales of its Versiondog data management software have been handled by two distribution partners based in Washington and Pennsylvania.
"With the branch in the USA, we are continuing our globalization strategy. Auvesy has been active internationally since its foundation in 2007 and has extensive project experience, particularly in America. The establishment of our own branch office is a logical and important next step in order to better reach our customers and to be able to advise and support them with local support," explains Dr. Tim Weckerle, CEO of Auvesy. "Only with a local office can we do justice to our position as a data management expert and further expand it in the USA."
The location in Michigan will be managed by Robert Glaser, shareholder and previously Director of Research & Development at Auvesy. Thanks to his many years with the company, he has the necessary product and market knowledge and, in addition to building up the business, is also responsible for recruiting additional employees at the US site.
Glaser: "We started recruiting specialists for the new office in advance, as the demand for a data management solution like Versiondog is growing rapidly in the USA. The fact that we can count many international companies that also produce in the USA among our customers naturally reinforces this development. We therefore need to expand our team continuously and are currently looking intensively for additional sales staff."
