Around 770 exhibitors from 40 countries will be presenting their developments in sensor technology, measuring and testing technology and other areas of automation at this year's Automatica.

The trade fair's supporting programme will cover current topics such as artificial intelligence, digitalization, mobile robotics, service robots and, for the first time, applications from the healthtech sector. Numerous specialist forums, workshops and discussion panels offer visitors the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information on trends, application concepts and challenges. The newly introduced "Control Quality Talk", for example, is dedicated to the question of how AI is used in quality assurance to optimize processes and minimize errors.

The event aims to promote the exchange of information between manufacturers, users and research institutions. Special attention will be paid to practical solutions that make everyday production safer, more efficient and more flexible. In addition to the presentations and discussion panels, there will also be numerous information hotspots on the exhibition grounds, which will present various aspects of automation - from the collection and evaluation of data to process optimization technologies.

The international Sensor and Measurement Science International Conference (SMSI 2025), where scientists and developers present their research results and exchange information on current developments, will take place parallel to the trade fair. Automatica 2025 thus brings together technological innovations and proven processes in industrial automation in order to meet the requirements of an increasingly digitalized and globally networked industry.
