Auer Packaging secures major order from VW
Auer Packaging, the Upper Bavarian specialist for plastic transport and storage containers, has secured a major order from Volkswagen AG: The order volume amounts to three million euros, which is "one of the largest single orders in the company's history," says Managing Director Robert Auer.
The company, headquartered in Amerang, won the contract in a Europe-wide tender. The VW Group ordered around one million RL-KLT containers, which are now regularly delivered from Amerang to Volkswagen suppliers throughout Europe - from Ireland to Portugal - to the exact day.
The small load carriers are used in the production chain to transport small parts. Thanks to their specific quality and functional properties, they support the high degree of automation in the automotive industry and meet the special requirements and standards specified by the VDA (German Association of the Automotive Industry). Equipped with a smooth base, reinforced stop surfaces on the front and long sides as well as ergonomic handles and auxiliary handles, the RL-KLT containers from Auer Packaging optimize both automated and manual work processes. kp
