Armstrong Fluid Technology expands in Europe
The Canadian company Armstrong Fluid Technology has acquired the circulation pump division of Halm Motors + Systems in Germany. Halm is a supplier of circulation pumps for heating, solar, geothermal and hot water applications. With the portfolio of circulation pumps, the international customer base and the presence in Europe, Armstrong is now expanding its product range and global reach. At the same time, the company is demonstrating its commitment to energy efficiency and its interest in the European market for circulators.
With their engineering quality, reliability and energy efficiency, Halm circulators are an ideal addition to Armstrong's current product range. Armstrong is integrating it into its global buildings business, creating further synergies by increasing the range and international sales opportunities. "As Halm will now be an integral part of the Armstrong family, we will be able to provide our global customer base with comprehensive solutions based on the high level of innovation of Halm products," explains Lex van der Weerd, CEO of Armstrong.
