"Exhibitors, visitors and, of course, Messe Stuttgart are in a positive mood - AMB was a complete success," says Ulrich Kromer von Baerle, CEO. "With 1,553 exhibitors on more than 120,000 gross square meters of exhibition space and 91,016 visitors, AMB set new standards at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre." The exhibitors and partners in the ten fully booked halls are also convinced of their participation and the importance of the international exhibition for metalworking for the industry.

According to Kromer, this success confirms Messe Stuttgart's decision to push ahead with the plans for expansion announced as part of its Master Plan 2025, such as the construction of additional parking spaces, a new Hall 11 and a second congress center in the west of the trade fair grounds.

At 36 percent, mechanical engineering accounted for the largest share of visitor industries. This was followed by the metalworking and processing industry, the automotive industry/vehicle construction and tool and mold making. More than a third of visitors stated that they only visit AMB and no other trade fair. More than half are certain that the importance of AMB will continue to grow. 88 percent of visitors would recommend AMB to others.
