Altair: Andrea Siudara is the new global head of IT (CIO)

Andrea Siudara has joined technology company Altair as Chief Information Officer. She succeeds Martin Nichols, who has been appointed Chief Purchasing Officer and will be responsible for global purchasing, budget tracking and facility management in his new role.

Siudara will lead the company's global IT team and will be responsible for Altair's IT systems, corporate and administrative systems and corporate IT strategy worldwide. She will also support the company's strategic initiatives as a member of the leadership team.

"Andrea's customer-centric approach to technology will be a great asset to us as we expand our global footprint," said James R. Scapa, Altair's founder, chairman and CEO. "As we continue to grow, both organically and through acquisitions, we will leverage her expertise to lead our organization through major changes, align IT with business needs and adjust IT costs. She also brings a key account perspective to Altair at a time when we are positioning our data analytics offering in the market to drive digital transformation."

Siudara has almost 20 years of experience in managing large, international IT organizations of well-known companies. Until recently, she was Global Director Sales and Marketing IT at Ford Motor Company. Prior to that, she held management positions at Delphi, Dell and General Motors.
