Frequency inverter
Universally applicable, compact and powerful
Just in time for SPS Smart Production Solutions 2021, BMR elektrischer und elektronischer Gerätebau is presenting the compact SFU 1000 frequency inverter in modular design for the control cabinet with a continuous output power of 1000 VA.
At the same time, the output current has been increased to 12A in order to be able to drive larger spindles with higher current requirements and this at 55 VAC output voltage.
The drive specialists from Schwabach have expanded the I/Os for flexible integration into the customer's specific application on site. Four freely parameterizable inputs and outputs areavailable as plug-in screw terminals for conductor cross-sections of up to 1.5mm2. Three output channels are now realized as active outputs with 0-24V level and can therefore directly control PLC inputs. Another output is designed as a relay with changeover contacts for switching potential-free signals.
The device meets all requirements for "Safe Torque Off" with the "Safe Torque Off" (STO) function. The STO function prevents a spindle from starting up unintentionally when the machine is at a standstill during service work.
The SFU 1000 rounds off the top end of the BMR product range of modular inverters. It is suitable for small or medium-sized milling and grinding machines as well as for all CAD/CAM systems with high-speed drives.
